We are very sad to have to announce the cancellation on the 2016 Bradford on Avon Cycling Festival.
We have had a number of issues in the organisation of the events but the main one being the road closure of the Holt road, meaning we will not be granted the road closure for the Hill Climb.
It really is such a shame, we have had significant input from local residents, volunteers and the steering group but this work is not lost and we hope you can join us in 2017 for an even better festival.
If you have entered an event you will receive a full refund shortly.
The only events that will continue to run will be Georges Marvellous Bike ride and the Western League Cyclo Cross race. Please keep checking Facebook for updates.
Take care and cycle safe!

We would love to raise £1000, help us raise this amount by joining in the fun!
The centre of the weekend will be in Westbury gardens, which will host loads of fun events, activities for all the family as well as an information tent, first aid, podium area for prize presentations.
The weekend is shared with Bradford on Avon Arts festival, who in 2016 will be exploring Outer Space, See their exciting programme of events to join in on one of many of the classes, workshops or activities.
We are working with Georges Marvellous Bike Ride to raise as much money as possible for Stepping Stones. Take part in the GBMR on Sunday 11th September, enjoy the great outdoors and raise money at the same time! Help us and the GMBR team to help raise much needed funds for Stepping Stones.
2015 brought us a fantastic event, with over 100 happy riders at each event! Thank you for the support you showed by coming along and having a go!
The Hill climb was especially special, a great atmosphere and amazing amount of support out on the road!
Well done to all the children who made it up the hill, over 40 of them! And a special thanks and well done to VC Walcot for the team prize but also the support over the weekend, a great turn out of VC Walcot riders across all events. Great to see so many local clubs out riding the local roads 🙂
